“ Smoke is a very special place. Centrally located in Wilmslow, this busy 3 story cafe, bar and restaurant offers impeccable service from an army of young staff. Very professionally run yet personal. Their food has always been good - typically mediterranean inspired meals with typically ingredients from their own farm shop, but recent menu changes have expanded the menu further and improved the quality even further. Open from morning to night but best to check with venue on the phone as their kitchen has reduced hours compared to the bar. Highly recommended but can get busy! ”

“ We decided to visit Smoke after visiting their excellent farm shop, a couple of miles away. Wilmslow High Street (Water St) is littered with high-end shops - Rolex, Aston Martin etc - and I entered Smoke half expecting a slightly, blingy, up-themselves vibe. I shouldn’t have worried. It was lovely. Young, friendly serving staff. Cosy interior over three floors. We ordered from the brunch menu and it was great. Choose from standard items or build your own - which I did. Sauteed mushrooms and roast cherry tomatoes served on toasted sourdough. On point. The smoked chicken (smoked at their farm), bacon, spinach, chilli jam and cheddar wrap, nailed it too. A glass of Prosecco, white wine and a coffee completed the meal. Good food, well prepared. Next time I’m buying a DB12, I’ll be straight into Smoke to celebrate. ”

“ One of my regular eating establishments. Attended this morning with my elder daughter for breakfast. We both chose to build a brunch with me opting for the Full English approach whilst number one daughter had a mix on her plate. As always, the food on offer here is exceptional. We both enjoyed the fresh orange juice which was particularly refreshing. Service was prompt and courteous and the place had a nice buzz considering it was earlyish in the day. Well done everyone. We will return. So today was judgement day as me and my two daughters returned to Smoke as one of our 12 finalists for best English Breakfast in the area. As can be seen from the accompanying photographs we all had variations on build a brunch. Service was prompt and polite as usual. The food was delicious, as always. Smoke has scored highly in our judging criteria. Well done everyone. ”
“ Visited today evening on account of my birthday with my family. This cafe is right on the main road with many restaurants on both sides. A cute dinosaur prototype is kept on the terrace in the veranda outside. Must be ideal to visit in summer and sit outside enjoying the fresh air. Very centrally located. Waiters were polite and gave an excellent and fast service. Wine was wonderful and the appetizers and side dishes were also good . Found the cheese to be very salty though. Red peppers were amazing. Would advise to increase vegetarian options in the menu. There are a few but would prefer more options considering the growing number of people turning vegetarian and vegan day by day.
